It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas A. Green, who left us peacefully on February 25, 2026, at the age of 64.
Born on August 25, 1961, in Marion County, IN, Tom was the son of the late Ronald Green and Nancy (Bloom) Green, whom he held a deep love for. Beside his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Kyle Green, granddaughter, Kylah Green and grandfather, Ray Green.
Tom was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Ann Green, whom were united in marriage on February 2, 1990. Together, they shared countless joyful moments, whether it was cruising on their motorcycle, enjoying cookouts, or simply soaking in the warmth of family gatherings. Family was everything to Tom, and he cherished every moment he spent with his daughters: Amber (Calvin) Blackmon, Lita Smith, Sophela Valdez, and Nita (Ben) Reed. He was also a proud grandfather to many, including Oaklie, Paxon, Cory, Kala, Caleb, Isaiah, Destiney, Serenity, Cain, Colin, Mady, Ethan, Cameron, Izabelle, Hunter, Braxton, LeLind, Autumn, and Kyler; a great-grandfather to Jaxon and Colton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Yolanda Green, Tim and Nancy Green; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. His legacy will live on through his family and friends who will miss his warm smile and gentle spirit.
Tom had an impressive career as a truck driver for Jim Mootz Trucking, where he dedicated 25 years of hard work and commitment. Before that, his passion for auto body work shone through in his meticulous attention to detail and creativity in painting and fabricating. Friends and family knew him as the best in the business, often marveling at the antique cars he brought back to life.
In his spare time, Tom enjoyed gathering around the campfire, riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers with his grandchildren, and exploring marketplace treasures. He was a soft-spoken soul who cared deeply for others, always putting his loved ones first.
