Terrence "Terry" Alexander

December 7, 1952 — October 29, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Terrence "Terry" H. Alexander, of Hillsboro, Ohio, who departed this life on October 29, 2025. He was the son of the late Arthur and Ellen (Hauldren) Alexander. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his brothers, Boris and Mark Alexander.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, he is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Alexander; his daughters, Carrie (Brian) Furnish and Sarah (Nathan) Kelch, son, Jacob (Kristie) Alexander, grandchildren, Blake and Becca Furnish, Mollie and Jack Kelch, Reid and Charlotte Alexander, brothers, William "Bill" (Carleen) Alexander, Philip (Ellen) Alexander, and Matthew (Linda) Alexander and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends who will carry on his legacy.

Terry was a lifelong educator whose passion for teaching and nurturing the minds of young people left a lasting impact on countless students. His infectious enthusiasm for learning inspired those around him, making education a joyous journey for so many.

In addition to his dedication to education, Terry served his community with great honor and commitment through his involvement in Freemasonry. He proudly held the position of Past Master of Highland #38 F&AM, and served as the Thrice Potent Master of Gibulum Lodge of Perfection in the Valley of Cincinnati. He was an active member of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the York Rite, and the Red Cross of Constantine, where his wisdom and leadership were highly respected. His contributions through these organizations were marked by kindness, integrity, and a deep sense of duty.

The family will gather to honor Terry's remarkable life with funeral services at 2:00 PM on Sunday November 2, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM , with Masonic Rites Services at 6:00 PM on Saturday November 1, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home.

In this time of sorrow, the family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support received from friends and the community. Terry's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and all those he touched throughout his life.

The family would also like to extend its gratitude to Hospice of Hope for the support and care they provided. In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to Hospice of Hope in Terry's memory.
