Sharon Tong

Sharon Kay Tong, 65 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday October 29, 2025.

She was born in Hillsboro on June 23, 1960, the daughter of the late Johnny and Priscilla (Hammond) Barnett. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her husband, Steve "Harve" Tong and grandson, Jaydon Boggs.

Sharon is survived by her son, Brandon (Sarah Clark) Gibson, daughter, Amber Clark, grandchildren, Ava-lynn Gibson, Brayton Gibson, Charleigh Gibson, Noah Boggs, Jonah Hunt, Thadeus Hunt, Nathias Clark, Silas Clark and Ambreah Clark, two great grandchildren, Sarah and Jaylah, brothers, John Barnett and Randy Barnett, sisters, Melanie Hammon, Melissa Curry, Annette Ledbetter, Gina Strayer and Gabby Jordan, best friend, Sherry Rowe and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Monday November 3, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
