Sandra Dee Elchert

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Dee Elchert, age 59, who left this world on April 3, 2026. Born on March 6, 1967, in West Union, Ohio, Sandra was a loving wife, grandmother, and cherished member of the community. She is preceded by her parents, Ernest and Patty (Cress) Rhoads.

Sandra dedicated her life to her family and took immense joy in her role as a grandmother, sharing her love and wisdom with her grandchildren. She had a passion for nature, often spending her days fishing and mushroom hunting, where she would find solace and tranquility. In her quiet moments at home, she enjoyed crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that will serve as lasting reminders of her creativity and warmth.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband, Troy Elchert, whose deep love and support enriched her life, son, Brent (Misty) Elchert, daughter, Natosha Deboard, grandchildren, Faith, Landen, Hope, Hayden, Grace, Chase and two other grandchildren, brother, Marvin (Mary) Rhoads, sisters, Brenda (Jackie) Rhoads and Kathy Mootz, nieces, beckie Rhoads, Nicole Rhoads, nephews, Nathan (Oliva) Rhoad, Chad Rhoads and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held in Sandra's honor at a later date, where family and friends will come together to celebrate her life, share memories, and find comfort in one another's presence.
