Robert E. Dunseith, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on September 8, 1944, in Hillsboro, Ohio, Robert was a source of joy and strength to all who knew him. He spent his life dedicated to his family and his community. Bob is preceded by his parents, Harry and Mary (Fields) Dunseith, his wife, Judy Dunseith on October 15, 2020, five brothers, Richard, Larry, Dewey, Jerry and Leon Dunseith and sister, Gail Woods.
Bob was proud to have served his country in the United States Army demonstrating his commitment and bravery. After returning home, he enjoyed a fulfilling career as a heavy equipment operator, contributing his skills to various construction projects throughout the area. He was also a member of the Hillsboro Eagels #1161 and the Highland County Senior Citizens Center.
Known for his warm heart and infectious smile, Bob found joy in music as a member of the Grounded-Gospel Singing Group, where he shared his passion for singing with others. He had an unwavering love for his grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply, often sharing stories, laughter, and invaluable life lessons with them.
Bob is survived by his loving children: Jimmy (Stephanie) Dunseith, Joey Dunseith, Kevin (Carla) Dunseith, Keith (Tammy) Dunseith, Kelly (Mike) Scott 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren., brother, Phillip (Linda) Dunseith, sisters, Margaret Smith and Judy (Rodney) Jones, special friend, Mary Mahaffey and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and resilience that will continue to inspire his family and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Friday June 6, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home to celebrate Bob's remarkable life. Burial will follow at the Arnheim Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Family and friends are invited to join together to honor his memory, share stories, and reflect on the joy he brought to their lives on Thursday June 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
