It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline June Arledge, beloved wife, mother and friend, who transitioned into the next life on June 21, 2025, at the age of 75. Pauline peacefully departed from this world in her cherished home in Hillsboro, OH, surrounded by the love of her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Minnie (Thompson) Cox, sisters, Helen Hise, Carol Wooten, Gladys Rader, Nellie Cox and Dorothy Arledge, and brothers, Dale, George, Bob, Donnie and twin infant brother, Paul Cox.
Pauline was a vibrant spirit who embraced life passionately. Born on October 9, 1949, she blossomed into an extraordinary woman whose laughter and warmth touched the hearts of everyone she met. Her legacy will live on through her devoted husband, of almost 59 years, Wayne Arledge, who sustained her with unwavering love; her daughter, Cheryl (Dennis) Irwin and her son Brian (Becky) Arledge, who brought her endless happiness; and her granddaughter, Jessica (Tom) Schmid and two great grandchildren, Thomas and Sierra Schmid and several nieces and nephews.
To celebrate Pauline's life, funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday June 26, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Pauline June Arledge leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and laughter. May her memory continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.
