Patrick Bruce

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patrick D. Bruce, who left this world on May 26, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on November 2, 1981, in Dayton, Ohio, Patrick grew up to be a well-respected and hardworking individual, dedicating much of his life to labor. He was known for his unwavering spirit and determination, attributes that served him well in all of his endeavors. Patrick was the grandson of Joy and Ed Bruce and was also preceded by his father, Montie Bruce and cousin, Nicole Barnes.

Patrick attended Latham High School, where he developed a strong love for basketball-a passion that remained a significant part of his life. He cherished his time spent on the court, where he created lasting memories with friends and family, all while fostering a love for friendly competition. Additionally, Patrick had a profound appreciation for history, often sharing intriguing stories and insights with anyone eager to listen. His ability to engage others with the past was just one of the many ways he connected with those around him.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Kimberly Bruce, and his beloved sisters, Monica (John) Prater and Heather Penwell, Fiancé, Willeen Frazier, step-daughters, Alexis, Audrey and Adrianna, grandson, Anthony and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. . Together, they will carry forward his legacy of resilience, kindness, and love for family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Saturday May 31, 2025 at the Sinking Spring Community Church. His final resting place will be at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the church.
