With heavy hearts but joyful memories, we celebrate the life of Patricia Pierce-Hope, who left us on June 26, 2026, in Hillsboro, Ohio. Born on April 26, 1932, in the small town of Troutwood, Ohio, Patricia embodied a spirit of adventure, love, and dedication throughout her remarkable 94 years. She is preceded by her parents, Roy and Katherine (Eby) Stebbins, first husband, Dewey Pierce on July 5, 1981, second husband, Jack Hope on June 10, 2021, brother, William "Bill" Stebbins, sister, Mary Ellen (Joe) Worsham and son-in-law, Tim.

A proud graduate of Jefferson Township High School in 1950, Patricia pursued further education at The Ohio State University, earning her bachelor's degree. Her passion for teaching led her to a fulfilling career that spanned over three decades. Patricia inspired countless students during her time at schools in Champaign, Monroe, and Montgomery counties for seven years, four years in Greenfield and seventeen years in Hillsboro. After retiring, she channeled her love for exploring the world into a second career as a travel agent for AAA, where she joyfully assisted others in discovering new horizons for 10 years.

Patricia was deeply rooted in her community. As an active member of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church, she found strength in fellowship and service. Additionally, her involvement with the Hillsboro Historical Society and the Hillsboro Women's Club highlighted her commitment to preserving local heritage and empowering those around her.

She is survived by her loving children: son Rick (Sheila) Pierce; daughters Mary Beth Bellamy and April Walker, step-daughter, Linda (Tim) Doerger, grandchildren, Kelly Snell, Brad (Patricia) Pierce, Charissa (Tyler) Wines, Joshua Bellamy, Christian (Jordan) Bellamy, Honor Walker, Noble (Audrey) Walker, Serene (David) Reed, great grandchildren, Ari Wines, Ezra Wines, Aelina Bellamy, Adaline Wines, Hudson Walker, Braxton Pierce ,Corin Pierce, Blaze Johnson and Jordan (Maura) Pierce, sister-in-law, Doris Stebbins and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Patricia's legacy is a rich tapestry woven with love for her family and a zest for life that took her on countless adventures across the globe.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM on Tuesday June 30, 2026 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:30 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Patricia Pierce-Hope's spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
