**Obituary for Mose Willard Workman**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mose Willard Workman, who left us peacefully on November 28, 2025.
Mose was born on July 4, 1945, in Otway, Ohio, the son of the late Mose R. and Irene (Hatton) Workman, Beside his parents, Mose was preceded in death by his wife, Dianna (Dodds) Workman on December 2, 2016.
Mose was a veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His bravery earned him a Purple Heart, a testament to his courage and commitment. After returning home, Mose worked constructions for several years and he found his calling in the automotive industry, owner of his own car lot and later as a salesman for Jerry Haag Motors until his retirement, where he was known for his friendly smile and excellent service.
Mose attended Marshall High School where he excelled and loved playing basketball. He was also an avid motorcycle rider, embracing the open road with the same zest he brought to everything he did.
Mose had a vibrant social life, being a member of several organizations, including F.O.E. Aerie 1161, Hillsboro Elks Lodge 361, Amvets Post 61, American Legion Post 129, and VFW Post 9094. He cherished his winters spent in Florida, where he made countless memories with friends and family.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Carol (Bill) Mitchell and Edna Short and his sister-in-law Linda (Jim) Siders; dear friends, Steve Haag and Mark Clifford;Mos several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Mose will be lovingly remembered for his warm spirit, unwavering loyalty to friends and family, and his bright laughter that could light up any room.
Mose wishes were to be cremated and burial of his cremains will be at the Twin Township Cemetery at Bourneville, OH. According to his wishes, no public services or visitation are scheduled.
