Marjorie Adkins, 94 years of Peebles, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman.
She was born in Greenup, Kentucky on October 1, 1913 the daughter of the late William and Almedia Leslie Stewart.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Adkins, and two sons, Ray and James Adkins.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gerry Jo and Naomi Adkins of Peebles, daughter-in-law, Mickey Adkins of Peebles, grandchildren, Jamie, Mike, Gary, and Renee, great grandchildren, Amanda and Ashley, and nine great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
