Lewis Loren West, born on April 22, 1930, in Seaman, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, in Englewood, Ohio. He was 95 years old. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Lewis will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. Lewis is preceded by his parents, Francis and Bessie (McCann), brother, Phillip West, sister, Jean Douglas, an infant sister and son-in-law, Jerry Bierly.

Lewis dedicated over 30 years of his life as a printer at Standard Register, where his craftsmanship and work ethic were celebrated by his colleagues. He was not just a professional but a man of great integrity, whose contributions went beyond his employment.

A devout member of Northview Baptist Church, Lewis's faith guided him throughout his life. His commitment to his church community reflected his values of compassion, kindness, and generosity. He found joy and purpose in serving others, leaving an enduring impact on those around him.

Lewis is survived by his loving wife, Della (Inskeep) West; his daughters, Janice Bierly and Deborah (Kenny) Buchholz; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Together, they shared countless memories, laughter, and love that will echo through the generations.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday February 5, 2026 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Family request donations can be made to the Northview Baptist Church, 1139 Northview Dr. Hillsboro, OH 45133.
