Lana Tilton

Lana L. Tilton, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 63. She was born on April 28, 1962, in Springfield, Ohio, and spent her life in the warmth of the Hillsboro community.

Lana was a devoted mother to her daughter, Alesha (Terry) Penwell, step-sons, Jan, Micah and Caleb Kinsley, grandmother of Logan (Kat) Knisley, Wyatt (Hayleigh) Knisley, and Laith Knisley, loving great-grandmother to Jaxson and Braven Knisley, sister, Nancy (Jeff) Meece, brothers, Ernest "Bud" Tilton and Thomas (Cheryl) Tilton, Joseph Jordan, who was her compainion for 25 years, life long friend, Mary Knisley and several nieces, cousins and a host of friends whom will remember her kindness, humor, and unwavering support.

A woman of simple joys, Lana found happiness in the little things, whether it was exploring yard sales or doting on her beloved cats. Her laughter and warmth brightened the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting imprint that will be felt for years to come.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
