Kathy Ann Rhoads

Kathy Ann Rhoads, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, at the age of 62, in her home in Belfast, Ohio. Born on October 19, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Kathy was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She is preceded by her parents, Paul and Audrey Russell and two sons, David Allen and Paul Jr, Rhoads.

Kathy possessed a heart of gold, a spirit that embraced life, and an unwavering love for her family. As a loving wife to her husband Billy Rhoads, she cherished their life together, building a foundation of love and compassion for their children: Billy Rhoads, Jr. and Geneva Rhoads.

Kathy's legacy is carried on by her children and her cherished grandchildren: Cearra Rodriquez, Tristin Spencer, Billy Rhoads, Melody Rhoads, Marshall Rhoads, and Jacob Marshall, as well as her two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Debra Steward and Sheryl Canter, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A devoted family member and friend, Kathy was known for her love of flowers, which mirrored her vibrant personality. Her nurturing spirit will be remembered by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Home, where loved ones will gather to honor her memory. A public viewing will take place earlier that day at the same location, starting at 1:00 PM.
