Jimmie D. Vinson, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, in Hillsboro, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1952, Jimmie lived a life full of passion, dedication, and love. He is preceded by his parents, Everet and Mabel Vinson, son, David Lee, brother, Gary Wayne and sister, Charlene.

As a proud veteran of the United States Marines, Jimmie exemplified the values of courage and commitment. He continued to serve his community as a member of the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard, AM Vets #61, and Hillsboro VFW #9094. His contributions to these organizations were marked by the same spirit of camaraderie and service that characterized his military career.

Jimmie's talents extended beyond his service. A skilled construction worker, he brought expertise and artistry to every project he undertook. He found joy in woodworking, crafting beautiful pieces that reflected his dedication to the craft. Music was another of Jimmie's passions; he cherished playing the guitar and sharing the gift of music with those around him.

Jimmie cherished his family above all else. He is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie (Duncan) Vinson, and their daughter, Agnes Justice, grandchildren, Christopher (Kendall) Vinson, David (Meghan) Vinson, Kristie Vinson, Jerrica Vinson, Rocky (Kyle) Justice, Cody (Dusty) Justice and Anna Belle Justice, five great grandchildren, brother, William (Becky) Vinson and special friends, Ron Hoadly and Randy Erwin, who will carry his legacy of love and kindness in their hearts.

In celebration of Jimmie's remarkable life, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday July 19, 2025 at the family's residence. Military rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Jimmie D. Vinson's spirit will live on through the love of his family and the memories of those whose lives he enriched. In his passing, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with laughter, service, and love.
