It is with heavy hearts that we announce the life loss of Jason A. Brock, who left us on January 19, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on October 22, 1989, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jason lived life to the fullest, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He is the son of Jesse and Tina (Steele) Brock. Jason is preceded by his grandparents, John and Jackie Steele, Jesse Brock, Sr. and Barbra Jean Brock.
A dedicated Timber Tech employee, Jason worked diligently in the factory, where his infectious smile and generous spirit made him a beloved member of the team. He was well-known for his love of fishing, often referred to fondly as "the fishing legend" among his friends and family. Jason's laid-back nature extended to his unique sense of style, which some may have considered unconventional, but his heart was always in the right place-he would have given the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Beside his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Melissa Storms, children, Hailey Brock, Elijah Goldsmith, Maverick Brock, Ryan (Gracie) Storms, Mckenzie Kerwood and Cody Kerwood, grandchildren, Treyvon and Nova, sister, Jacee (Wyatt) Lewis, brothers, Jessie Brock, Joshua (Ashley) Brock and Jared (Brianna) Brock, grandmother, Tonya Brock and many aunts, uncles, additional family members and a host of friends.
In honor of Jason's life, funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 U.S. 62, Hillsboro. Pastor John Coyle will officiate with burial to follow at the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Hillsboro Church of God.
Thompson Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
Jason may have departed from this world, but his memory will carry on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him. Rest in peace, dear friend, as you reel in the greatest catch of all.
