Janet M Palmer

Janet Marie Palmer, 88 years of Hillsboro, left her earthy home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday March 25, 2026. She was born in Seaman, Ohio on February 13, 1938, the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Smith) Hughes. Besides her parents, she is also preceded by her husband, Lloyd Palmer, of 58 years, on August 30, 20213, infant brother, Robert, brother, Gary Lee Hughes and grandchildren, Eli and Lindsey Palmer.

Janet and Lloyd owned and operated Country Lone Farms of Seaman, Ohio for 50 years.

Janet leaves behind her son, Timothy Palmer, grandson, Bryce (Jennifer) Palmer, great grandchildren, Keatyn and Jax Palmer, nieces, nephews and a very special friend, Vicki Jacob.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM on Friday April 3, 2026 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Tranquility Cemetery.

Friends may call 12:00 PM until time of services on Friday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Family request donations can be made to the Highland County Humane Society.
