James A. "Jim" Taylor, Sr, 66 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday August 18, 2018.
Jim was born in Russellville on February 15, 1952, the son of the late Luther and Pearl (Davis) Taylor.
Jim is survived by his two sons, James Taylor, Jr. of Florida and Adam Taylor of Wilmington, two daughters, Malinda Stevens of Carolina Beach, N.C. and Jessica (Kendall) Taylor of Wilmington, four brothers, Richard Taylor of Hillsboro, John Taylor of West Union, Russell (Sandy) Taylor of Blue Creek and Rodney (Vergenia) Taylor of Portsmouth, four sisters, Patricia Taylor of Hillsboro, Connie (Bud) Helbling of Georgetown, Barbara (Lloyd) Shoemaker of Hillsboro and Anna Taylor of Bainbridge, ten grandchildren and a special friend Jim Lewis of Hillsboro.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 am Thursday August 23, 2018 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Marshall Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10:30 am until time of services on Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Donations can be made to the Thompson Funeral Home.
