James David Gregory, 76 years of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday September 11, 2023.
He was born in Blount County, TN on August 24, 1947, the son of the late George and Beulah (Davis) Gregory. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his nephew, Brett Gregory and brother-in-law, James Williams.
David served in the United States Air Force, was a Past Master of the Lynchburg Masonic Lodge #178 and was a life member of the Hillsboro AMVETS #61.
David is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Dorothy (Rowlands) Gregory, son, David Alan (Shannon Hacker) Gregory of Lynchburg, daughters, Georgie (Bill) Branson of Lynchburg, Chastity (Roy Adams) Campbell of Lynchburg and Kelly (Robert) Mootz of Lynchburg, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, brothers, Vernon Gregory, Jeff Gregory and Bodie Gregory, sisters, Joan Williams, Linda Gregory and Debbie Ison and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Services will be at the convivence of the family.
