Jack A. Garland, 87 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021.
Jack was born February 28, 1933 in Edmonton, KY, the son of the late Joe and Pearl (Pennington) Garland. Beside his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Garland, brothers, Sherman, Russell, Lonzo and Joe Garland; sister, Ruth Sage.
Jack was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church; retired Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force and retired Nursing Home Administration.
Jack is survived by his wife, Phyllis M. (Page) Garland; two daughters, Cynthia (Christopher) McNaughton of Xenia and Rebecca (David) LaMarche of Tucson, AZ; step daughters, Dianne (Larry) McLaughlin and of Hillsboro; two step sons, Rick Edison and Steve Edison both of Hillsboro; one granddaughter, Christina (Anthony) Schiermeyer of Tucson, AZ; eight step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Clay and Woodrow both of IN; three sisters, Mary Greathouse of IN, Julia Dial of FL, Mattie of FL; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00pm February 20, 2021 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
