Helen Bohl, a devoted mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 5, 1947, in Hillsboro, Ohio, Helen graced the world with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. She is preceded by her parents, Floyd and Anna Watson, husband, Kenny Bohl, brothers, Larry Watson and Bill Watson, sisters, Patricia Manning, Carol Dunseith and Delores Beatty, grandchildren, Justin Osborn and Breanna Grooms and great grandchildren, Destiny Osborn and Bentley Osborn.

Helen's greatest joy came from her four beloved daughters: Lynnette (Randy) Knisley, Angie (Ralph) Osborn, Lori (Charlie) Angle, and Amy (Billy) Grooms. As a mother, she instilled in them the values of empathy, resilience, and love. Her legacy lives on through them, enriched by countless memories of laughter, storytelling, and shared experiences that will be cherished forever. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Desirae Osborn, Casey Knisley, Summer Kelly, Miranda Knisley, Katlyn McCarthy, Austin Kelly, Breanna Grooms, Keleb Grooms, Carson Grooms, Peyton Pence and Anna Pence, great grandchildren, Hayley Crase, Michael Osborn, Hunter Hill, Brayleigh McCarthy, Mason Osborn, Kaydence McCarthy, Braxton Osborn, Blair Knisley, Judson Jones and Heidi Knisley, brother, Anthony Watson, sister Brina Dunseith and a host of friends.

In addition to her role as a mother, Helen touched the lives of many in her community, always offering a helping hand or a listening ear. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday March 31, 2026 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Arnheim Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.


Helen's gentle spirit will be deeply missed, but her love will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
