Greg Leininger

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Greg Adam Leininger, who departed this life on November 14, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on February 10, 1980, in Hillsboro, Ohio, Greg was cherished by his family and friends for his warm spirit and enduring strength, which he exhibited daily despite the challenges he faced throughout his life. Greg is preceded by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Viola Leininger, maternal grandparents, David and Roberta Roades, aunt, Nancy Apgar, uncle, Kent Roades and cousin, Jason Everson.

Greg is survived by his devoted parents, Tom and Candy Leininger, brother, Bruce Leininger, sister, Amy (Justin) Rich, aunts and uncles, Jerry Leininger, Nancy Leininger, Roger and Carolyn Martin, Larry and Cindy Krasnewski and Ken Apgar and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday November 20, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Donations can be made to the Ohio's Hospice Foundation.


In this time of sorrow, we encourage all who knew Greg to reflect on the joy he brought into their lives, and as we gather to remember and celebrate him, let us hold each other close in love and remembrance. May Greg's spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
