It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Estella "Bunny" Myers, of Hillsboro, who left us on October 18, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on April 9, 1944, in Union City, Indiana, Bunny was the daughter of the late, Edward and Ruth (Pratt) McDaniel.
A graduate of Reading High School, Bunny Myers was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and "Gram" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. But most importantly-she was a counselor when someone seemed down, a friend to all, a harmonious voice in every congregation she was a part of, the family talent show coordinator at every holiday function and a truly special servant to the Lord, creating a warm and loving home.
She had a special knack for bringing joy into the lives of those around her, whether it was through her beautiful singing in a gospel quartet at Bright Christian Church in Bright, Indiana or the joy she found in playing the piano. Her love for music was only outdone by her fierce love for her family and friends. Many of whom she made at Hillsboro Church of Christ and Lilly Hill where they resided.
Bunny thoroughly enjoyed her time at the Ponderosa restaurant in Hillsboro, Ohio where she frequently ate and made friends with many of the workers and customers. A passionate bingo player, she brought her cheerful spirit to every game.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jerry A. Myers and her cherished sons, Jerry D. (Sara) Myers of Geneva, OH, Darren E. (Geneva) Myers of Loveland, OH, Bill "Uncle Buck" (Crystal) Myers of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Pryce, Malia, Spencer (Matt) Rosenberg, Kendall, Emily (Jesse) Walker, Abigail (Tanner) Bogart, Kaley Jo, great grandchildren, Francis "Frankie" Rosenberg, Magnolia "Maggie" Walker, Leo Bogart and her dear sister, Kathy Keller.
In this time of grief, let us remember the laughter, love and light that Bunny brought to our hearts. She will be missed but forever cherished.
A Celebratin of Life will be held at a later date.
