Ellen A. Vanderpool, 66 years of Winchester, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Bethesda North Hospital.
She was born At Hinton, West Virginia on October 6, 1944 the daughter of the late Robert Jack and Rachel Francis Wills. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Debra vanderpool and one brother Robert Wills.
She is survived by her husband whom she married on June 15, 1966, Albert Vanderpool of Winchester, three daughters & sons in law, Stephanie & Jeremiah Hess of Dayton, Monica & Jeremy Gray of Winchester, Deanna Vanderpool of Winchester, five grandchildren, Megan Hess, Tabitha Hess, Gideon Hess, Janelle Hess, Christian Gray, one great grandson Justin and one sister Patricia Reed of Danville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February, 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 noon till time of service at 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
