Elizabeth Y Bowles

Elizabeth Y. Bowles, a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 47.

Born on July 31, 1979, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of Verna (Mattingly) Schuler and the late Henry O'Dell; step daughter, to the late Jim Schuler and sister to the late Henry Michael Vanover.

As a devoted Christian, Elizabeth embraced her role as a mother with all her heart. She cherished her daughter, Sofia Jo, and poured her creativity and love into everything from crafts to baking. She had a special knack for making ordinary moments extraordinary.

Elizabeth's warmth and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family. She was closely bonded with her mother, Verna Schuler; siblings: sisters Marilyn (Josh) Lyle, Sara (David) Carter, Penny (Paul) Dennis, Julie Vanover, and brother Paul Vanover; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Elizabeth love for her family was matched only by her compassion for others. She always had a listening ear and a heart ready to help anyone in need. Whether she was sharing laughter or lending support during tough times, her spirit touched everyone around her.

We will forever miss Elizabeth, but her legacy of love, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire us all.
