Doyal Ray VanDiver, born on June 16, 1949, in Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on November 20, 2024 at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, Florida.,. A man of many talents and passions, Doyal made notable contributions in various aspects of life, from his dedicated work as a construction worker to his service in the Marines during the Vietnam War. His military service was a defining aspect of his life, teaching him values of honor and commitment that he carried with him throughout his endeavors.
Doyal had a profound love for music, embracing his identity as a country rock musician. He found joy in playing and sharing music, which became a significant part of his life. Additionally, he was in a band known as Nite Riders, participating in activities that brought enthusiasm and camaraderie among friends and fellow enthusiasts.
He was a devoted father to his surviving children: David VanDiver, Scotty VanDiver, Kathrina VanDiver, and Nicole VanDiver. Doyal was also blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with his wisdom and compassion.
Doyal is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Agnes R. VanDiver on September 27, 2007; loving daughter, Pamela Collins. His legacy will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, who will carry his spirit with them in their hearts. Doyal Ray VanDiver's life was marked by resilience, creativity, and a deep connection to his loved ones, leaving an indelible impact that will be cherished for years to come.
Doyle was buried at the Prospect Cemetery.
