Dolly Aldridge

With hearts full of celebration and love, we announce the passing of Dolly M. Aldridge, who departed this life on December 16, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 18, 1936, in Wilmington, Ohio, Dolly's journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit and warmth that touched all who knew her. She is preceded by her parents, Manford and Etna (Tucker) Collins, husband, Bobby Aldridge, daughters, Susan Mongold and Brenda White, sisters, Leona Turner, Anna Botts, Beatrice Newkirk, Juanita Gilbert, Mary Cox and Agnes Vandiver and brother, Henry Collins.

Dolly was a beloved grandmother,deeply cherished by her family. She is survived by her adoring granddaughters, Christina Mongold and Tonya (Brian) Hall, great grandchildren, Kevin Mongold, Ryan White, Kyle (Clarissa Howard) Hall and Ashley (Justin Wolfe) Hall, and many great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends to carry on her legacy of kindness and resilience.


Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM on Saturday December 20, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
