**Obituary for Deborah Ruth Herman**
Deborah Ruth Herman, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on October 30, 1955, in Sabina, Ohio, Deborah lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, and a love for nurturing others.
A proud and respected State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), Deborah dedicated her career to the health care sector, working in several nursing homes throughout Washington Court House, Ohio. Her gentle spirit and attentive care touched the lives of many, providing comfort to those in need. After retiring, she continued to serve her community as a cook at the 1st Stop in Rainsboro, where her passion for cooking brought joy to all who tasted her meals.
Deborah's heart was not only devoted to her profession but also to her family and the many children she welcomed into her home as a foster parent. She embraced each child with love and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughter, Scarlet Ivy, with whom she created cherished memories filled with laughter and warmth.
Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Dana Herman, and her six devoted children: Katie, Kemmy, Austin, Anthony, Jason, and Zak Herman. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love, support, and nurturing.Friends and family will gather to honor Deborah's life during a public viewing at Thompson Funeral Home on June 10, 2026, beginning at 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. No further services are planned.
In accordance with Deborah's wishes, her remains will be cremated, allowing her spirit to live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
