It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles R. "Bob" Cannon, who left us on August 6, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on November 13, 1964, in Greenfield, Ohio, Bob was a lifelong farmer whose hands tended to the land with unwavering dedication and love. He exemplified the values of hard work, patience, and respect for the earth, and his connection to the farming community was a testament to his character and spirit. He is preceded by his parents, Howard and Evelyn (Long) Cannon and his niece, Kristen Cannon.
Bob is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Lisa Cannon, who carries the memories of their shared youth and the bond that only brothers can know. Together they navigated the joys and challenges that life presented, with a strong foundation built on love and support. Bob also leaves behind his dog, Rusty and a host of friends.
As we gather to honor Bob's life and legacy, we invite friends and family to join us for a heartfelt Celebration of Life. Services are pending at this time.
Bob's wisdom and his passion for farming will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the fields he nurtured and in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved deeply and will be remembered fondly.
Thompson Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
