Charles "Butch" E. Dodds

Charles E. "Butch" Dodds, 82 years old of the Rainsboro Community, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023.

Butch was born July 9, 1941 in Highland County, OH., the son of the late Donald H. and Mary Kathleen (Taylor) Dodds, Sr. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Ann Clyburn; two brothers, Gary Lee Dodds and Donald H. Dodds, Jr. Brother-in-law Gary Mustard and one nephew David Mustard.

Butch was a 1959 graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. He retired from White Consolidated Industries "formerly Frigidaire".

On September 23, 1963, he was united in marriage to Marian A. (Clark) Dodds, whom survives. They were blessed with four loving daughters, Amy (Eric) Kline of Frankfort, OH., Janet (Tom) Taylor of Greenfield, OH., Rebecca (Michael) Crabtree of South Salem, OH., Ruth (Craig) Cutright of Leesburg, OH.; nine grandchildren, Erica (Sean) Dumford, Colleen Kline, Ryan Kline, Owen Kline, Ezekiel Crabtree, Zoei Crabtree, Logan Cutright, Emily Cutright, Elizabeth Cutright; three great grandchildren, Corbin Dumford, Carter Dumford, Ellis Renault; one sister, Mary "Bea" Mustard of Rainsboro; one brother, Steve (Amor) Dodds of Salinas, CA., brother-in-law Joe Clyburn of Bainbridge, OH., sister-in-law Martha Dodds of Chillicothe, OH., several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Rainsboro Methodist Church, 7579 State Route 753, Greenfield, OH. 45123.

Pastor Terry Washburn and Pastor Jamie Darling will officiate.

Burial will be in the Gilboa Cemetery.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Rainsboro Methodist Church.
