Cathy Mae Deardoff, a beloved member of the Sinking Spring community, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on April 7, 1959, in West Union, Ohio, Cathy spent her life offering compassion and care to others through her work in home health care. Her dedication not only touched the lives of her patients but also left an indelible mark on her family and friends. Cathy is preceded by her parents, Oren Blair, Jr. and Garnet (Boldman) Blair, step-mother, Opal Blair, brothers, Dean, Richard, Blair and Bob Snodgrass, sisters, Jeannie Snodgrass and Pat McElveen and nephew, Shawn Deardoff.

Cathy is remembered for her unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and nurturing spirit. She had a unique ability to make those around her feel seen and valued, and her warmth created a sense of belonging wherever she went. As a devoted wife to her husband, Roger "Bird" Deardoff, Cathy was a pillar of support and love. Together, they shared a life filled with cherished moments, mutual respect, and deep affection.

Besides her husband, Cathy will be lovingly remembered by her son, Johnathan (Kelly) Deardoff, daughter, Tracey O'Cull, five grandchildren, Ciara Gibson, Addy Deardoff, Elizabeth Deardoff, Jane Deardoff and Ryan Bennett, one great grandchild, Jaxon Dildine, sisters, Darlene Siller and Mildred Collett, mother-in-law, Doris Florimonte, sisters-in-law, Paris (Dave) Groh and Toni Ann (Mark) Johnson, brother-in-law, Mike (Tracy) Florimonte and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who carry her legacy of love and generosity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday October 25, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Saints Cemetery.


Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
