Bonnie McGuire

Bonnie Jean McGuire, 67 of Winchester, OH passed away on September 6, 2025, just one day before her birthday. Born September 7, 1957, in Kentucky, Bonnie lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and had a personality that uplifted everyone around her.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Haggard, Gene Haggard (step-father), father, Robert Holbert, brothers, Kenneth Holbert and Douglas Holbert.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Patrick McGuire, with whom she shared a cherished marriage of 38 years, having built a loving relationship since 1983 and wed on July 4, 1987.

Bonnie was also a beloved mother to her son, Eric Ty Bayless; wife (Edna Bayless). She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Dooley and Vickie Riley and her granddaughter, Marjorie Johnson, husband (Jesse Johnson) and great grandchildren, Cameron Bruce Page, Caiden Lee Johnson, Conner Dwayne Johnson, Carleigh Renee Johnson, Cohen Lewis Johnson. Edna's daughter, Crystal Whitman and her daughters, Maleah, Braelynn, Kinsley and Alaya.

Being a grandmother was truly her greatest joy. She often became Mamaw Bonnie to any child/adult she was around-it was her identity!

She loved planting flowers in her garden and enjoying the sunlight, above all, time spent with her family was her true source of happiness.

She is deeply missed and her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of all who had the honor to know her. Always remember "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
