**Obituary for Ashli Nicole Whitenack**

Ashli Nicole Whitenack, 41 years of age, was born on March 19, 1985, in Wilmington, OH, passed away from childhood heart disease on May 28, 2026, at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. She leaves behind a legacy of love and selflessness that touched the lives of many in her community. Ashli resided in Lynchburg, OH at the time of her death, where she lived a life marked by her caring spirit and dedication.

Ashli was a devoted mother to her sons, Skyler (Serenity) Long, Michael Whitenack and Jayce Whitenack, and a cherished grandmother to her beloved grandson, Ryler Long who was the joy of her life. Her love for her family was palpable, and her greatest joy came from nurturing her relationships with each of them. In addition to her sons and grandson, Ashli is survived by her mother, Rita Mootz; her grandmother, Willa Mootz; and her sisters, Rhonda (Dane) Wells and Melissa (Jeff) Colley; finance', Keith Setty; her childhood best friend, Tyler Long; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

With a heart devoted to service, Ashli worked diligently as a home health aide, putting the needs of others before her own. Her compassionate nature was a testament to her character; she loved God deeply and embodied the essence of caring. Ashli found delight in the simple pleasures of life-whether it was walking barefoot in mud puddles, riding four-wheelers, or tending to her cherished fairy garden. The great outdoors brought her solace and happiness, symbolizing her free spirit and stubborn determination.

Ashli will be cashing in her rain check with her son, Skyler who just got his CDL's for her final ride on a semi to the cemetery being driven by Skyler.

A graveside service honoring Ashli's life will be held at Hamer Township Cemetery on June 4, 2026, at 2:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to join together to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman whose impact will be felt for generations to come. In her memory, let us carry forward the lessons she taught us about kindness, love, and devotion to family.
