Alta Cochran, 88 years of Peebles, died Saturday, June 30, 2007
She was born at Cherry Fork, OH on May 5, 1919, the
daughter of the late Orville and Anna Eckman
Swearingen
She was a member of the Peebles United Methodist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Cochran on July 26, 1999.
She is survived by two sisters, Pauline Mathis of Cherry Fork, Ruth West of Jefferson, one sister/law, Rosalie Swearingen of Xenia and several nieces, nephews and counsin.
Funeral servives will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church under the direction of the Wallace-Thompson
Funeral Home with Steve Zinser officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church.
