With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of , Allen Isaac Gibson, who left this world on March 2, 2026, at the tender age of 16. Born on January 25, 2010, in Tiffin, Ohio, Allen grew up in Lynchburg, where his vibrant spirit and infectious laughter touched the lives of all who knew him.
Allen is preceded by his grandparents, Marlene Carter and Stephen Carter, great grandparents, Lowell Page and Clara Page, maternal great grandparents, Diena Wolf-Carter & William Carter, paternal great grandparents, Henry and Ruby Gibson and paternal great grandparents, Audrey and Paul Rex and uncles, Maxwell Carter, James Gibson, William Carter and Max Carter.
As a student at Lynchburg Clay High School, Allen epitomized the curiosity and enthusiasm of youth. He was a proud member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he fostered a deep love for the land and her creatures. Those who knew him recognized Allen's passion for the outdoors, particularly his joy for fishing, where he found peace and contentment in nature's embrace.
Beyond his involvement in FFA, Allen was also a talented artist, illuminating the world around him with his creativity. His drawings and paintings reflected a profound connection to his surroundings, capturing moments that resonated with the beauty of life.
Allen is survived by his father, Michael Gibson, and his loving mother, Semara Fox. Their support and encouragement will forever be a testament to the loving environment he called home. He is also survived by his step-father, Donald Fox, sisters, Diena (Christopher) Carter and Cortney Gibson, brothers, Jeremiah Carter, Perry Gibson, Michael Gibson, Jr., Brenndon Gibson and Lawrence Jackson-Brown, paternal grandparents, Paula and Harrison Gibson, aunts, Audrey (Anthony) Jackson, Nicole McCleese and Rebecca (Charlie Adams) Newmister, uncles, Wendle Gibson and Stephen Carter,Jr. girlfriend, Jasmine Woods, several other aunts, uncles and a host of friends.

Though Allen's time with us was far too brief, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him, a reminder to cherish each moment and find beauty in the world around us. Rest in peace, dear Allen; you will be dearly missed.
