Mildred B Tafoya

Mildred B. Tafoya, 97 years of Gahanna, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. Mildred was born December 2, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA., the daughter of the late John B. and Bessie M. (Clark) Moser. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth H. Tafoya on March 10, 1989 and a sister, Helen Ullrich. Mildred was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hillsboro; member of the Rosary Altar, a past Board Member and Aide at Hills & Dales. Mildred is survived by her five loving children, Cheryl Tafoya of Gahanna, Frank (Jan) Tafoya of Denver, Co., Tim (Lorri) Tafoya of Pataskla, OH., Mike Tafoya of New Lexington, OH. and John Tafoya of Gahanna; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Nick, Michelle, Melissa, Briana, Jason, Kenny; eight great grandchildren, Jessa, Jace, Jax, Ali, Paige, Austin, Noah, Joaquin. According to Mildred's wishes, she donated her body to the Ohio State University College of Medicine. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or the Highland County Senior Citizens.
