Obituary for Michael F. Kisling

Michael F. Kisling, 70 yeas of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2020.

Michael was born September 17, 1949 in Wilmington, the son of the late Fay B. Kisling and Kathleen M. (Jordan) Burnett. Besides his parents his brother, Larry Hopkins, also precedes him.

Michael retired from Public Employees Retirement System, and he attended the Danville Pike Holiness Church.

Michael is survived by his sons, Brian (Katie) Kisling and Kenny Kisling both of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Austin Eggleton, Brayden Kisling, Drew Kisling and Katie Kisling, great grandchild, Hayden, brother, Rick (Julie) Kisling of Hillsboro and sisters, Beverly (Pete) Scott of Waynesville and Debbie Griffith of Hillsboro.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

Thompson Funeral Home is taking care of the family.

i only knew brother i am for a very short time from paltalk but i remember him as always kind and caring and loving towards all people he always loved my music i would play he was a good person a real man of god im not used to that but i was so proud to call him my brother he will be sadly missed on paltalk but all his friends and i know he will also be missed by his family who he talked about often take care my brother rest easy until we meet again in heaven singing praises to Our God together love always sis chosenbyhim

Plus I known brother mike who was known on paltalk as bro iamwhatiam54 for many years on paltalk he was my brother in Christ he would spend time talking to people he loved to sing to the Lord and he always loved praying for people when he got the chance to I loved him so much as my brother in Christ I will miss you Rest In Peace my dear friend and brother

Hi to bro iam family and friends it breaks my heart to know my longest friend I knew since I started going in to sis peace room way back when paltalk started I could always will remember he would greet me when I entered snows room or sis peace in Jesus room he would say hi sis Tricia or great song and singing I will him so much it was a blessing to get know ur dad he was a blessing to me he was inspiration to me up lifted and loving caring man I ever met on paltalk he will be missed by his real families and friends and his online family and friends too I love you my bro iamwhatiam54 I will always carry u in my heart where ever I go I will miss you hugs my prayers and condolences to the families and friends

My heart breaks to hear this. Mike was always such a loving caring person. I always told him he was my adoptive dad. He walked me down the aisle at my wedding. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
