It’s easy to be confused & angry but I don’t want to live in that space. So I try & think of all the loss you had at such a young age, losing both of your parents so young & a brother & sisters too soon, & I try to understand how you desperately searched for love & comfort throughout your life. You seemed happiest when you had your children & the love you had for them resonated from you like sunshine. The smile that crossed your face when they would laugh or do something that made you proud would light up the room. So I’m sad, really sad that this was your ending because I remember that Aunt Aimee; the 12 year old girl that helped save me from drowning in Lake Huron, the young mom with two beautiful children that could not stop smiling & my aunt who always told me I was beautiful & never settle. I grieve for that person & for your family who is now experiencing loss at too young of an age. Rest in Peace Aunt Aimee & my love & prayers to your family.
